GRO - Eden House is a Marigot, St Barts, member of Jo Malone's very exclusive partnership for Luxury Villas, yachts, private jets etc. GRO - Eden House is the only property they have in the entire Caribbean.
This ultra-modern hi-tech water-side villa has been European architect designed inside and out in minimalist style with clean-cut lines and angles. The villa uses natural materials and top quality finishes such as bleached teak woodwork, lava stone, Balinese pebbles and cembonit floors, teamed with the inspiration of a color range from Mia Zia, and beautiful modern Italian furniture. The rooms are all dove gray, each with a different vibrant color accent drawn from nature's most incredible hues.
In the main living area the principal color complementing the gray is a rich bougainvillea pink. The dramatic theme is continued with large white sofas and a dazzling tangerine orange coffee table, and contemporary Italian lighting with steel downlighters.
The sophisticated audio/video system includes a Bose Lifestyle home entertainment system, progressive wide plasma screen TV, Bose Environmental speakers inside and out, Satellite Direct TV and Canal Plus, and ADSL and Wi-Fi telephone and computer connections.
The kitchen is a gourmet cook's delight, with top of the range equipment, Smeg gas hob and oven, two enormous stainless steel fridges and two Miele dishwashers. Dine in comfort at the Italian designer table inside or at a matching one on the shaded terrace outside.
The three bedrooms all share the same design concept, each with its own color scheme: rich bougainvillea pink accenting the dove gray bedroom located off the main living area, and the two bedrooms above, one with translucent ocean turquoise accents, the other with banana-leaf green. The en-suite bathrooms have Balinese pebble-inlaid showers, with both overhead stainless steel showerheads and hand-held showers and double sinks.
The gray infinity pool is surrounded by a huge deck area overlooking the sea, with a solitary Alexander palm and with designer white chaises and gray loungers. A path leads down through the tropical gardens to the property's own private bay-side coconut grove with fine white sand, from where access to the sea can be gained by some rocky steps. The bay is part of the island's marine nature reserve and is home to turtles and many varieties of tropical fish, and is fantastic for snorkeling.
