Kai Kala is a property of 4 buildings totaling 10 bedrooms set in 2-1/2 acres of fruit trees and flowers on a cliff overlooking the sea. There is the one bedroom Hideaway Cottage on the cliff's edge looking down on the sea, the two bedroom Bamboo Cottage is set in the gardens, Sea View, three bedrooms set in the gardens with a view of the sea through the trees and the 4 bedroom Kai Kala Villa.
Kai Kala Villa
The main house, set above the swimming pool and looking out to the sea. On entering the villa you cross over a Perspex bridge with a stream and waterfall filled with golden koi and surrounded by vegetation. The wooden staircase splits into two levels. Upstairs leading to 3 of the 4 bedrooms and downstairs the 4th bedroom, living room, dining, bar verandah and pool area beyond. The salt water pool has blue mosaic tiles and a hot tub with jets, on the tiled deck there are lounge chairs, umbrellas and floats for your enjoyment.
The verandah has a wrought iron table with a seating capacity of 10 for outdoor dining, and comfortable seating of a carved bench with 3 chairs and ceiling fans add to your enjoyment. There is also a powder room attached.
The bar opens onto both the living room and verandah with the most original seating, 4 hands carved of wood. It has an ice machine, bottled water dispenser, coffee maker, blender, and refrigerator and wine storage unit.
The living room has a flat screen TV with cable DVD player internet access. There are two ceiling fans. High windows open onto a water feature for your added pleasure. The dining room also overlooks the water feature cascading outside the row of windows, leading to a fully equipped kitchen.
The Master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV, air conditioning, ceiling fans, its own private patio and wooden plantation chairs for viewing the pool and sea. The spectacular Master bathroom has a whirlpool tub enclosed by wooden louvers and glass on three sides, his and her closets, stone basins and double mirrors add to the sense of luxury, the room expands into a large pebble tiled shower with glass walls opening onto a private patio looking directly out to sea, lush plants fill the back of the shower,
Second bedroom has king size bed with flat screen TV, air conditioning, ceiling fans, overlooking the garden and the sea, en-suite bathroom with tub and shower
Third bedroom has two queen size beds flat screen TV, small patio, en-suite bathroom with tub and shower.
The fourth bedroom is downstairs, has queen size bed flat screen TV and sitting area. And opens onto the verandah through French doors, bathroom has a tiled shower with tiled seat at the back, stone countertop and basin.
Hideaway Cottage
Overlooking the sea this luxurious and wonderfully romantic Hideaway Cottage is just steps down from the main Kai Kala Villa. The bed clearly dominates the room and offers spectacular views from its hillside location. The French doors from the living room lead to a private split-level wooden deck that is ultimately private and features a small barbecue grill, beautiful outdoor seating for 4 and its own hot tub! Inside, there is a comfortable sofa, ceiling fan and several chairs. There is also a kitchen with a mini-fridge and a small table for two for indoor dining.
Bamboo Cottage
This 2 bedroom Bamboo Cottage sits in the bamboo gardens. The pebble-tiled entryway leads into the living/dining room decorated with bamboo furniture in a spacious seating area with 2 ceiling fans, 32 flat screen TV with Cable and windows giving you a stellar garden view. There is also a dining table for 4.
Opening from the living room is the kitchen with another table for 2, refrigerator, 4-burner electric stove, microwave, coffee maker and its own cutlery and utensils. French doors offer spacious views of the garden area.
The first bedroom has a king size 4-poster bamboo bed with ceiling fans, air conditioning and a flat screen 32 TV with cable. There is a large closet with louvered doors and a digital safe. Beautiful garden views can be seen through the bedrooms large windows. The en-suite bathroom has a tub and shower and windows that offer more fantastic garden views.
The second bedroom has twin bamboo beds, a flat screen 22 TV with cable, ceiling fan, and a/c. The bathroom has a tub and shower with garden views.
Sea View Cottage
The three-bedroom Seas View Cottage is steps from the main house and driveway. A beautiful wooden deck overlooking the Caribbean, offers an outdoor dining area and a jetted hot tub to thoroughly enjoy and relax. There is a lovely and comfortable living and dining area that seats six. With a large, flat-screen TV with cable, a telephone and ceiling fan. You'll even find a barbecue for those nights where you want to spend some time away from the group and enjoy a nice dinner. The kitchen has a 4 burner electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, 4-slice toaster, coffee maker and has its own cutlery and glassware. An unusual and intriguing lit ceiling shows the path to the two smaller bedrooms, which are original to the property.
All three bedrooms at Sea View Cottage have air-conditioning with ceiling fans, telephones. The master bedroom features a 32-inch, flat-screen cable TV. In bedroom two and three there are 22-inch flat-screen cable TVs. Each bedroom features luxurious bathrooms and digital safes.
The Master bedroom has a king-size bed and French doors that open onto the wooden deck, overlooking the hot tub. The large en-suite bathroom has a tub and a shower with a window overlooking the sea. Second bedroom has a double bed and a stunning bay window comfortably cushioned overlooking the sea and gardens. The en-suite bathroom has a tiled shower and tub. The third bedroom has a double bed with beautiful garden views. The en-suite bathroom has a mosaic tiled shower and tub.
